Another Powerful Word – “Yes”

Following my post titled Our Most Powerful Word  – “No”

I felt strongly that a counter post was warranted.  So, in the spirit of fairness, balance, democracy and equality – here it is.

The benefits of saying “yes” are many.

Short of being a “yes man” or a “yes woman,” it is great to be the one person who is always on board and always ready to rise to the challenge.

How awesome are these kinds of  people?!

I can think of a few incredible A2D2 troupe members who are outstanding in this way – and my sisters and I cherish them deeply, as they are the perfect teammates – always ready to step up.

Seizing opportunities is also key. If we aren’t open to saying “yes” then we’ll surely miss out on any number of chances to learn, engage, and shine.

Sometimes you need to just say “yes” and if things don’t work out, at least you learned something about yourself and about others in the meantime.
