Hello Friends and welcome to Circus Blog!
As a passionate member of the Toronto Special Events community, I decided to start up a blog to share tips and insights pertaining specifically to cirque integration into special events. Whether you’re planning an entire circus-themed event, a full-scale cirque production, or you just simply want to incorporate a few aerial elements into any given event theme (like, say, a singer on a swing) this blog is for you.
There are numerous pit falls which can easily be avoided in the planning process. After many years in my current post as Co-Director of a Toronto-based cirque company, I’ve experienced them all and would like to pass on what I’ve learned. This is an inexhaustible topic and I look forward to putting the information out there, reading your comments/ feedback, and hopefully initiating meaningful discussion on this fantastic niche topic.
