Last year, my business partner and I attended a Toronto conference designed exclusively for special event planners, event suppliers and event entrepreneurs.
Special Event Boot Camp - Are you up to the challenge?
Special Event Boot Camp Toronto Edition immerses conference participants in two days of non-stop learning which provides you with the opportunity to hone your skills as an event professional.
I have to say, SEBC was easily one of the most enriching and beneficial programs we had the pleasure of experiencing all year (which was an amazing boost given that 2009 was such a turbulent time). The connections and friendships that you create and carry forward are absolutely invaluable.
Add to that, this year (at SEBC 2010 Toronto Edition), the A2D2 troupes along with yours truly, had the privilege and the opportunity to conduct some of the SEBC Dance Zones along with a special zone dedicated to Cause Marketing entitled “Cause we want to.“ This zone centered around the importance of orchestrating events which benefit a meaningful purpose. ie Events which raise funds and awareness for your favorite people, charitable organizations and groups in need. Suffice to say, all A2D2 members involved in this year’s presentation felt honored to share our fund raising experiences with our fellow SEBC Drill Sergeants and Privates.
SEBC is the brain child and exclusive creation of event-planner extraordinaire Carol Moxam. Carol not only embodies the true spirit of entrepreneurship, but she also carries with her an intense passion and love for her industry. I ask you – Who wouldn’t want to be surrounded by this kind of positive energy?
